2020 Harvey Norman Women’s State of Origin

State of Origin venues have been confirmed for 2020 including Sunshine Coast Stadium announced to host its VERY FIRST, 2020 Harvey Norman Women’s State of Origin on Friday, November 13!

The stand-alone Harvey Norman State of Origin women’s match in Queensland is another highlight of the season marking its third year. The Women’s State of Origin has seen rapid growth since its launch in 2018, and we are proud to host the Queensland Maroons and showcase elite women’s sport on our Sunshine Coast.

We are operating under a Queensland Health approved Site Specific COVIDSafe Plan. Under this plan:

  • Social distancing must be maintained where possible;
  • High level of hand hygiene must be maintained;
  • Use of face masks is encouraged when you’re not seated;
  • Extra cleaning and sanitisation pre, during and post event is taking place;
  • Increased health and hygiene signage is in place around the venue;
  • Water bubblers and cloaking facilities are not in use;
  • Patrons displaying symptoms will not be permitted and should stay home;
  • Seating zones (with dedicated staff, food and beverage outlets and amenities) will be in place – patrons will be unable to move between zones;
  • There will be a staggered exit in place at the end of the event. Exit only when directed by staff.
  • The event is cashless to reduce contact;
  • The event ticketing system supports contact tracing;
  • Some activations such as kick to kick or player autographs will be paused to ensure social distancing requirements are met.

No, all designated seats must remain where they are. It’s also important to remain seated throughout the game and not linger in aisles, walkways or near food and beverage outlets.

Bags under A4 size are allowed in.

Yes, you can bring a sealed, plastic water bottle no larger than 1.5L. Water is also available to purchase inside the venue.

You sure can! Just remember to allow plenty of space for other people and your 1.5m social distancing.

No chairs are not allowed in.

Umbrellas cannot be brought into the venue, you can bring a poncho or raincoat instead.

Yes. Try Zone tickets are seated in a temporary grandstand. The seats aren’t allocated (despite you receiving a seat number).

Yes we are offering on-site parking for $10 a car, card only.

Entry is off Nicklin Way.

No, once you leave the venue, you cannot re-enter.

There is no smoking inside the venue and no pass outs. Please plan this before you come inside.

No there won’t, please check the prohibited items list to ensure you don’t get held up at the gate!
