Conditions of Entry

Venue Management is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment at Sunshine Coast Stadium and Kawana Sports Precinct. In support of this, the following Conditions of Entry apply to all events held at the Venue.

COVID-19

From 14 April 2022, the Queensland Government no longer requires fans to be fully vaccinated when visiting hospitality or entertainment venues including stadia.

As we move towards the new normal, it remains important to continue observing general health and safety principles while supporting your team. With this in mind, please continue to:

  • Stay home if you’re unwell;
  • Wash or sanitise your hands regularly;
  • Consider wearing a mask if you feel uncomfortable or when unable to maintain social distance (such as when entering or exiting the stadium); and
  • Vaccination remains the best defence against illness – for more information on how you can keep safe, visit the Queensland Health’s website.

Sunshine Coast Stadium, working in consultation with Queensland Health authorities prioritises the health and safety of attendees. Patrons may be denied entry to should they have or show symptoms that may place persons at risk or impact public health.

Patrons who do not comply with Sunshine Coast Stadium Management directions or with any Queensland Health directives, may be committing an offence and may be refused entry to, or evicted from, Sunshine Coast Stadium.

By purchasing or accepting tickets to a Sunshine Coast Stadium event, patrons acknowledge that, even with control measures in place at the venue, there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19. By attending our venue, patrons acknowledge that they have considered those risks and their own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that patrons may have, and the circumstances of persons with whom patrons will be in close contact following attendance at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Patrons acknowledge that, for a small number of people, COVID-19 has very serious health consequences. Sunshine Coast Stadium expressly relies on patrons to bring this health issue waiver to the attention of any guest(s) of the patron. Sunshine Coast Stadium will rely on this health issue waiver and proceed on the basis that all patrons acknowledge and accept these risks to enter Sunshine Coast Stadium.
