Falcons flying high into finals! | Sunshine Coast Stadium

The Hostplus Cup 2026 season is nearing its end with only a handful of rounds left to play.

After an electric 10 game winning streak earlier this year, the Sunshine Coast Falcons sit in first place on 32 points (13 Wins, 4 Losses, 3 Byes) just ahead of the second place Redcliffe Dolphins on 29 points (11 Wins, 1 Draw, 5 Losses, 3 Byes)

However, the job is far from finished for the Falcons with the Hostplus Cup Premiership within their sights and the Minor Premiership within their reach.

With three rounds left to play, two wins would guarantee the minor premiership and secure a week one home final at Sunshine Coast Stadium. Fortunately for both the fans and the team, the Falcons will play both rounds 22 and 23 at their Sunshine Coast Stadium home.

As for the BMD Premiership side, mixed results sees the Falcons placed 8th just outside the top 6. The mission is simple for the ladies - win. With three rounds left to play, three wins would see them jump into the top 6. Anything less leaves them at risk of missing out.
